American manufacturing will always be a pillar of our brand, and we proudly transform all our suppressors in Millcreek, Utah. Our team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable professionals is looking for a Test Technician to become an integral part of our operations. 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Technician to conduct testing and evaluation of next-generation suppressor systems. This role will work collaboratively with Business Unit verticals (Military, Law Enforcement, Commercial, and International) and Research and Development to understand the testing requirements and needs for a given product lifecycle and will support testing of our suppressor technologies from bench to field.  The ideal candidate has a solid background in mechanical engineering, instrumentation, and product testing and evaluation.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, integrate, and interpret data from product testing sessions.
  • Provide general research and administrative support to ensure smooth lab operations.
  • Maintain, manage, and repair laboratory testing equipment.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development engineers to transform data into actionable insights.
  • Advance lab capability and efficiency by assessing/integrating new equipment and/or developing new methodology and analytical tools. 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and make sure lab remains fully operational.
  • Assist in developing test protocols and refining data collection methods.
  • Assist with tracking and inventory of weapons platforms and ammunition.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in mechanical design, material properties, and product testing.
  • Strong technical and instrumentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of research principles, study design, and analysis techniques.
  • Experience in a laboratory setting with a focus on testing and quality assurance.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Background and proficiency with firearms and/or suppressor systems (military, competition, recreational shooting), or other related firearms technologies.
  • Military experience in an operational career field.
  • Background in material properties and metallurgy.
